Catharsis, the comic that offers you a great variety in characters. It has got a dragon with the attention span of a five year old on twenty kilos sugar, an insane (and occationally nude) squirrel with a serious case of narcolepsy, dustbunnies (multiple and many) who communicate by sticking a small piece of themself into your ear. There is also three sentinent dust balls, named Bitey, Romulus and Remus who are all offsprings of an unfortunate dustbunny, furthermore, there is a kitten - who, consider this - thinks she is a ninja, a talking sock who is a pirate and maybe worth mentioning, incase you've read this far - a young woman named Gwen - who apparently loves to wear yellow and get into crazy situations caused by her multiple animal (and not so animal) companions. Her obsession about a young guy - called the Cute Guy - who's name she doesn't even know, is also amusing. Note: the Cute Guy's name was revealed some time ago, but to avoid too many spoilers, you will have to read the comic to find out what it is!
The comic has evolved during the years from black and white sketchlike strips to colour strips. Also a notable change can be seen in the drawing style, which has become more simple and easy to read over the years. The comic has an ongoing storyline, though occationally it breaks off into completely unrelated gags. Most, almost all action in the comic takes place within Gwen's flat. The really bright moments in the comic are when Gwen turns into Tennibrook, a six year old version of herself who gleefully joins Rremly (the dragon) on his crazy shenanigans and mad hijinx. Tomfoolery ensures often quite quickly, not to forget mentioning random destruction. A notable, defining strip for all Aya fans would be when Tennibrook adopted her from the downstair neighbours.
The story is ongoing, though it advances somewhat slowly occationally. The trip into the dustbunny land was but one of many good storylines, to give an example. Catharsis is worth being on everyone's daily reading list, so check it out if you haven't already!
