Ikuhara Takeya is a high school student who contrary to most people doesn't really care
about these alien beings called DearS. That is until he kinda stumbles upon one.
What's even more strange is the fact that this DearS seems to regard her as Takeya's slave. Hmm... interesting.
Review As always starting with the animations and the outlook of the series. I did like the animations in this series. The style of animation wasn't really unique nor very special, except for some parts like the alien ship and to some extent the aliens themselves, even though the aliens are very humanlike.
The main character is ofcourse Takeya, the other main characters are Takeya's childhood friend Izumi Neneko and his newly "acquire" DearS Ren. Ofcourse there is a load of other characters in the show but I'm not gonna list them all.
Some character development takes place for most major characters in the show but concentrates mostly on Takeya's and Ren's peculiar relationship
The storyline was quite interesting as it gave a background into the aliens as well as told an interesting story. If you want to watch a funny show I strongly recommend this one.
